The ‘Arabella’ is a pretty, compact, fairly new type of Clematis. A non-clinging variety, it is brilliant for scrambling through shrubs, used as ground cover or trained over a wall.
From June until September it blooms and produces beautiful, deep purple flowers with contrasting creamy-yellow stamens. Happiest in a sunny west or east facing aspect, this hardy Clematis will thrive on both an exposed or sheltered site.
