An elegant Clematis displaying white flowers, adorned by yellow stripes and golden stamens
A beautiful cultivar from the early 1900s, this Clematis (Marie Boisselot) will bear flowers that evolve from creamy-white to luminous-white as they mature. Each upward-facing flower comprises of an arrangement of several white petals, that are adorned by slender yellow stripes along their middle, and golden stamens. The deciduous foliage of this Clematis is of a rich green shade, and will elegantly trail around a trellis or pergola. To ensure that your Clematis flourishes, we advise you to plant into soil that is moist, yet well-drained. If hard pruned, this Clematis can be grown in a patio container.
This Clematis has proudly achieved the Royal Horticultural Society’s ‘Award of Garden Merit’, evidencing its reliable performance, stable form and colour, good constitution, and resistance to pests and diseases.
