Clematis Montana ‘Mayleen’ is a vigorous, deciduous climber. From May until June it blooms and produces masses of gorgeous pale pink flowers. Each flower consists of four round overlapping petals with creamy-yellow stamens in the centre which are surrounded by gorgeous bronze tinted foliage.
The most fragrant of the Montana varieties of Clematis this shrub would be brilliant planted near a building or doorway where you can enjoy the wonderful smell. It is also excellent for training up over a wall, fence, trellis or pergola. This hardy Clematis is happy facing any aspect on either a sheltered or exposed site in both the full sun and partial shade.
